Introduction
Most people think you need to root your phone or use a custom ROM to get music on your Galaxy Watch. However, there are actually a few different ways you can do it without rooting or using a custom ROM. In this article, we’ll show you how to add music to Galaxy Watch so you can enjoy your favorite tunes while you’re on the go.
Step One – Choose a Music App
You can add music to your Galaxy Watch in two ways: via a music streaming app or by downloading MP3 files directly to the watch. If you want to use a music streaming app, you’ll need to choose one from the Galaxy App Store. Some popular options include Spotify, Pandora, and Amazon Music.
Step One – Choose a Music App
Before you can start adding music to your watch, you’ll need to choose a music streaming app from the Galaxy App Store. Some popular options include Spotify, Pandora, and Amazon Music. Once you’ve installed your chosen app, open it on your Galaxy Watch and log in with your account information.
Step Two – Start downloading or streaming music
Now that you have a music app installed on your watch, you can start downloading or streaming songs, albums, and playlists. If you’re using a music streaming app like Spotify or Pandora, you’ll need to make sure you have an active internet connection in order to stream songs. If you’re using an MP3 player like Amazon Music, you can download songs directly to your watch for offline playback. To do this, open the Amazon Music app on your phone and select the “Download” tab. Then, select the songs or albums you want to download and tap “Download.”
Step Three – Listen to your music
Once you’ve downloaded or streamed some music onto your Galaxy Watch, it’s time to start listening! To do this, open the Samsung Health app on your watch and tap “Start Workout.” Then, select “Music” as your workout type and choose the playlist that you want to listen to. Finally, tap “Start Workout” again and then “Start Music.” Your workout will now begin and your music will start playing automatically.
Step Two – Connect your Watch to your Phone
On your watch, go to the Galaxy Store and find the Music app. If you don’t see it, tap MORE and then find it in the list of apps.
Open the Music app and then tap the Menu icon (the three dots in the top right corner).
Tap Settings and then tap Connect to Phone.
On your phone, open the Galaxy Wearables app.
Tap TURN ON NOW under Connect to Phone. Make sure your phone and watch are nearby before you start this step.
Your watch will now search for a connection to your phone. Once it finds your phone, you’ll see a PIN code on both devices. Enter the PIN code on your watch to complete the connection process.
Step Three – Download Music to your Watch
Now that you have your music files on your computer, it’s time to transfer them to your Galaxy Watch. The process is simple: just connect your watch to your computer using the provided USB cable, and then open the Galaxy Wearable app.
Once the app is open, click on the “Music” tab and then select the “Local Files” option. From here, you can browse through your computer’s music files and select the ones you want to add to your watch. Just click on the checkbox next to each song, and then click on the “Add” button.
The process may take a few minutes, but once it’s finished, all of your selected songs will be available for playback on your Galaxy Watch!
Step Four – Add Music to your Watch
You can add your own music files to your Galaxy Watch. The following steps will show you how:
1. Open the Galaxy Watch app on your phone.
2. Select the “My watch” tab, then tap “Galaxy watch software”.
3. Scroll down to the “Music” section and tap “Add music”.
4. Select the music files you want to transfer, then tap “Open”.
5. Your selected music files will begin transferring to your watch.
Step Five – Listen to Music on your Watch
Assuming you have your music files on your phone, it’s now time to transfer them onto your Galaxy Watch. To do this, you’ll need to download the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone. Once that’s done, open the app and connect your phone to your watch via Bluetooth. Next, open the ‘Music’ tab on the app and select the ‘Local music’ option. You should now see all of the music files stored on your phone. Choose the ones you want to transfer, and then hit the ‘Send’ button. Your selected tracks will now start syncing to your watch.
Conclusion
There are many ways to add music to your Galaxy Watch. You can either sideload it from your computer, or download it directly from the Galaxy Store. If you sideload music, you’ll need to use a third-party app like MediaMonkey or doubleTwist. Once you have your music on the watch, you can create playlists and listen to them without your phone.
